This waterfront cliffside property had remained unfinished after many years of construction. The project involved refurbishing the entire building—essentially starting anew—while also extending in several areas to unlock unused space and achieve a significantly improved layout. Due to the challenging location, all materials had to be delivered either by barge along the river or transported down the cliffside using a funicular railway, which was also scheduled for replacement. Our role was to provide building control detailing to assist with the coordination of trades and design disciplines.
