The property is a small bungalow within the green belt. We were tasked with obtaining planning permission to turn the bungalow into a two storey house with a more modern outlook whilst still maintaining some of the character of the street scene and not allowing the proposal to be too overbearing on the rest of the area. We did this by adding dormers to the front, extending to the front, adding a new entrance porch and completely removing the roof to replace with a flat roof first floor extension along with rear extensions to effectively create an entirely new home.
