The existing property was a semi-detached house built approximately 1930. The project was to undertake a 4m single storey pitched roof rear extension which was set back by approximately 450mm from each side of the existing house to create a more subservient aesthetic. The walls were constructed using a traditional cavity wall which is rendered the vaulted internal ceiling with roof windows provides an abundance of light deep into the new kitchen/dining area.
