Extending into a loft is a relatively easy way to add additional space into a building without having to sacrifice any of your garden. This project was to create an additional bedroom in the loft space to cater for an ever increasing family. Having to design the first floor level without losing too much room from the bedrooms below was no simple task on this property due to the size of the existing landing and the location of the staircase. However, with some perseverance we were able to come to a solution which meant losing only a small amount of room in one of the bedrooms.
